Carmen Fontana co-leads Centric’s Cloud practice, as well as coordinates our Artificial Intelligence offerings across the company. With nearly twenty years of experience, her zen is when innovation meets data-driven decision making.
She is an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and has completed the Microsoft Professional Program in Data Science. She has a Bachelor’s in Systems & Control Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. Carmen Fontana is a veteran operations professional having served in management roles in a variety of organizations ranging from small startups to large nonprofits.
Carmen is an avid runner and triathlete. Her proudest athletic accomplishment was qualifying for the Boston Marathon just ten months after completing treatment for cancer in her left leg. She is a member of the Kenston PlayBlue committee, a community initiative to integrate health and fitness activities into K-12 academic curriculums. In her free time, she enjoys spectating at the sporting events of her husband and sons.
When asked what makes you feel included at Centric, Carmen’s response was, “As a mother of two young children, my availability and time commitments sometimes differ from my colleagues. However, this has never been an obstacle. Everyone at Centric has always been open and accommodating to solutions that will work with my situation. Thus, I am able to give my best to both my family and to Centric.”
