Ask Me About
Project and Program Management, Mergers and Acquisition Integration, HR and Compensation Systems, and Team Engagement
Work Experience
I support our Chicago team through team leadership, account management, and client work in the Program Management space. My recent work has been in the insurance industry, working with merger and acquisition integrations and system implementations.
Before Centric Consulting, I spent 23 years in IT at a large HR and Benefits consulting organization, starting as a developer and growing into the Project and Program Management space. I oversaw teams developing compensation, HR surveys and benefits solutions for our clients through both onshore and offshore teams.
Get to Know Me
My husband and I have three amazing children – all (mostly) grown and thriving in cities across the US – visiting my son in Colorado (to enjoy some skiing), my daughter in California (for great wine tasting and weather), and my son in Chicago (for great food and sporting events).
We live in the suburbs of Chicago and have been Cubs‘ season ticket holders for decades. We’re always hoping for another great baseball season.
What’s the best trip you’ve ever taken and why?
My family’s favorite spot is in Northern Michigan. My family vacationed there my whole life, and I continue the tradition with my kids and husband. It’s a beautiful area to enjoy lake life with waterskiing, tennis or pickleball, paddleboarding, dinner on the deck (including local corn on the cob and homemade cherry pie. It’s the best!) and ending with a bonfire and s’mores.
What energizes you and brings you excitement?
I recently heard a great bit of advice: Think about building relationships instead of networking. This resonates with me as I like getting to know people and learning what makes them tick. Networking can feel so superficial – but building relationships, that’s interesting. That energizes me – connecting with people, empowering them, building their skills, giving them the confidence to take on the next challenge – and then celebrating the successes, small and large, in life.
