Centric Cleveland has committed to supporting HandsOn Northeast Ohio as an official partner in 2014. The mission of HandsOn Northeast Ohio is to engage local individuals and organizations in citizen-managed volunteer opportunities that meet community needs, strengthen community involvement and build capacity of local nonprofit organizations.HandsOn NEO

Centric Cleveland and HandsOn Northeast Ohio first worked together in 2013 through a collaborative volunteer event with the Cleveland Foodbank. The Centric team intends to increase involvement with the organization through volunteering and financial support in 2014.

“Centric’s support as volunteers and as a company means everything to our small organization,” said Jeff Griffiths, executive director of HandsOn Northeast Ohio. “It is only because of volunteer and corporate support that we can continue to serve our mission and serve the community. HandsOn is its best when it is reflection of our volunteers, supporters and people that we serve and we are proud that it reflects this team!”

Centric Cleveland decided to engage in this partnership because of the positive impact the organization is making on the communities of Northeast Ohio.

“I’m excited to be partnering with HandsOn in 2014,” said Sarah Baker, one of Centric Cleveland’s Community Ambassadors. “It is obvious the organization has a true passion for making Northeast Ohio a better place and their mission and goals align very nicely with the community service goals of Centric Cleveland.”
