Centric Cincinnati is featured in the Philanthropy (Jan. 2014) Issue of Smart Business Magazine for their win of the magazine’s 2014 Pillar Award for Community Service.
The segment focuses on one of Centric’s core values, “Ignite Passion for the Greater Good.” Two areas of community service are specifically mentioned – Centric’s role in founding the Flywheel Social Enterprise Hub and the team’s active role in Adopt A Class at Winton Hills Academy in Cincinnati.
The Flywheel Social Enterprise Hub contributes to the launch and sustainability of social enterprise ventures in Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana. Adopt A Class, on the other hand, focusing on building relationships with students. The team has worked with the fifth graders at Winton Hills Academy for four years running.
