Centric Cincinnati recently received the Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service. Presented by Smart Business Magazine, the award honors businesses of all types and sizes that make outstanding contribution to their community. Its purpose is to encourage a charitable environment, recognize creative efforts that make a difference and demonstrate the ties between the for-profit and nonprofit worlds.

Centric Cincinnati supports a wide variety of local civic organizations. Centric is a founding partner of Flywheel Cincinnati, a Social Enterprise Hub that helps nonprofits become self-sustaining through alternate business models. Cincinnati and Louisville employees and contractors participate in Adopt a Class, a nonprofit organization that allows business professionals to be pen pals and mentors to low income students. The team also sponsors several Give Back Cincinnati events, including the painting of older homes through the annual Paint the Town Event. 2014 Pillar Award

Centric Cincinnati will be part of an awards recognition program held at the Duke Energy Convention Center on Jan. 23, 2014. All 2014 Pillar Award winners will also be featured in the January edition of Smart Business Cincinnati.
