Our Cincinnati operating group is presenting at a special CIO Circle virtual event put on by The Circuit that will focus on the modern hybrid workplace and the transition that many companies are dealing with today.
Modern workers are demanding a model that combines virtual and in-person work, but how do you create a hybrid workplace that keeps culture strong and employees engaged? In 2021, this is an issue that companies of all sizes are facing at every level. Larry English, author of Office Optional: How to Build a Connected Culture With Virtual Teams, has the answers.
During this special event, our President Larry English will explain how to make sure your company is ready to shift to a hybrid work model, whether you work in the HR department, IT, or are part of the facility staff.
In their talk, the topics Larry and Steve will discuss include:
- Why hybrid is a preferred workplace model
- What process, technology, policy and training changes are required for permanently adopting a hybrid model
- How office space and the office ecosystem will change.
The event will conclude with a raffle giving away several copies of Larry’s book, Office Optional. There will also be a Q&A session to discuss any outstanding specific topics the audience would like addressed.
About the Speakers
Larry English
Larry English is president and co-founder of Centric Consulting, a management consulting firm that guides you in the search for answers to complex digital, business, and technology problems. Before Centric Consulting, Larry worked for a large international consulting firm out of college until he got burned out at 25. He and his newlywed wife backpacked around the world as he tried to find his path in life—and he did. Shortly after returning home, he and his like-minded pals founded Centric with a focus on changing how consulting was done by building a remote company with a mission to create a culture of employee and client happiness.
Today, Centric is a 1,000-plus person company with offices in 12 US cities and India. In his new book, Office Optional: How to Build a Connected Culture with Virtual Teams, Larry unpacks everything he’s discovered about creating and sustaining a culture of collaborative teams in a virtual environment.
