Centric Charlotte annually gathers near Uptown Charlotte to serve at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.
Each year, the Charlotte team sorts food, beverage, hygiene and medical donations the Second Harvest Food Bank distributes to charitable agencies throughout the North and South Carolina regions.
Founded in 1981, Second Harvest’s mission is to feed hungry people by soliciting and distributing food and household items through partner agencies.
“Volunteering at Second Harvest is always such a rewarding experience. It gives us the opportunity to catch up with co-workers we don’t get to see on a regular basis all while helping a wonderful cause!” said Manager Lara Hawkins.
Our core value to “Ignite Passion for the Greater Good” inspires the annual trip to Second Harvest.
