Centric Hosted Wounded Warrior Workshop in Washington D.C
Washington D.C. – November 12, 2012 — John Otroba, a recruiter within Centric’s Energy and Utilities practice, lead a workshop through the Wounded Warrior Project in Washington D.C.
The workshop is one of the services the Wounded Warrior Project offers to Warriors trying to return to the workforce. Attendees will be Warriors who are seeking advice on working in the private sector.
The workshop will focus on the job interview, with specific focus on:
- What to expect
- How to prepare
- Interviewing techniques
- Networking
The event is open to all Warriors working with the Wounded Warrior Project. To attend, Warriors must sign up through the organization.
This is the first workshop that Centric has partnered with the Wounded Warrior Project to lead, but the goal is to expand this effort to Warriors across the country.
About the Wounded Warrior Project
The Wounded Warrior projecfla is a nonprofit, privately funded organization that works to honor and empower wounded Warriors by helping them transition back into civilian life. The purpose of the Wounded Warrior Project is to:
- Raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members.
- Help injured service members aid and assist each other.
- Provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
The organization, active in all 50 states and completely supported by corporate and individual donors and receives no federal funding, serves members of the armed forces who have experienced injuries on or after Sept. 11, 2001.
