Two of Centric Consulting’s Strategy Alignment and Architecture team members will speak at the 12th annual Business Architecture Innovation Summit.
The Business Architecture Innovation Summit is just around the corner. Set for March 19 – 21, the summit is held virtually and in person in Reston, Virginia. This year’s event will feature two speakers from Centric Consulting’s Strategy Alignment and Architecture team, including Jo Gilmore and Stacia Geib.
The Business Architecture Innovation Summit is the premier event for business and technical leaders looking to hear the latest industry success stories and advancements in the field. Co-sponsored by the Business Architecture Guild and Object Management Group, this three-day event features leading-edge presentations, interactive sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities for attendees seeking to gain practical insights into business architecture. Speakers across sectors will share experiences about maximizing the value of business architecture.
“This year’s Summit agenda reflects the rapidly growing role of business architecture in a variety of areas,” said William Ulrich, Guild Co-founder, in a press release announcing the event. “The diversity of speakers and topics demonstrates that business architecture is not restricted to any single industry, region, or usage scenario.”
Jo Gilmore, co-leader of our Strategy Alignment and Architecture practice, and Stacia Geib, a Senior Manager with the Strategy Alignment and Architecture practice, will present “Building a Bridge Across the Business and IT Chasm.” They’ll share real-life stories across industries where there were unintentional chasms between IT and business partners. As they explore the issue, the duo will dive into how to find common ground amid challenging market, customer, and company issues.
“We’ll walk through universal pain points and how business architecture bridged the chasm, enabling alignment in instances where it seemed impossible,” Gilmore said, adding that best practices, including strategy alignment, value stream and capability mapping, maturity priorities, people change strategies and execution roadmaps all will be up for discussion.
