January 18, 2019 – Cleveland, OH — Centric Cleveland recently ignited passion for the greater good by spending the afternoon volunteering at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland.
The core purpose of this nonprofit organization is to…
“…provide children who are most in need a safe place to grow, learn and realize their full potential because they will become tomorrow’s parents, workers and leaders.”
The Cleveland team has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland for all of 2019 and Friday’s event was the first of multiple events planned for the year. The team spent the afternoon cleaning a classroom, the art room, and the gym at the Broadway Club.
After the cleaning, the team went on a tour to learn more about the club’s programs and demographics. The event wrapped up with dinner and engagement with the children. The Cleveland team is proud to support the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland.
About the Boys & Girls Club
Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland is a nonprofit organization providing safe, fun places for the kids who need us most. Clubs are open at the times when kids are most vulnerable to getting into trouble — after school, on Saturdays and during the summer. They champion academic success and healthy lifestyles, as well as character and citizenship. In addition, they offer special initiatives, including a farm program and a career readiness program.
