Centric Named Semi-Finalists for 2012 TechColumbus Innovation Awards
Columbus, OH – November 21, 2012 — Centric was named a semi-finalist for the 2012 TechColumbus Innovation Awards in the Outstanding Technology Team category.
We were recognized for our success in bringing a new product and technology to market. The awards “honor the individuals, teams and companies which, through their outstanding achievements, have transformed their businesses and been instrumental in creating the future of our regional economy.”
About the Project
As part of its corporate strategy to better help their independent agent partners compete in the commercial insurance market, Grange embarked on an ambitious project to broaden their insurance product and implement an intuitive technology platform that would complement the agents’ ability to sell. Grange Insurance partnered with Centric in the creation of an agile transformation program consisting of 7-8 agile teams collaborating together over 16 months to bring the new product and technology to market. This program is the largest transformation effort Grange Insurance has ever undertaken.
Event details: Winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony entitled, “INNOVATION… BEYOND CONVENTION!”on Feb. 3, 2013. Attendees represent the region’s leaders in research, technology, health care, energy, IT and other key industries.
