Lessons learned: Make lifelong relationships built on trust and camaraderie.
With bats circling my head as I was climbing the inside of a seven-story hollow fig tree in the Costa Rican rainforest, the best approach was to just keep moving, trust the system of ropes, listen to the team, and stop fear from holding me back.
This year’s trip served as a reminder that maintaining a focus on lifelong relationships built on trust and camaraderie is a great way to bring that Costa Rican “Pura Vida” mindset home.
The literal translation of “Pura Vida” means “Pure Life,” but the expression stands for more than that – one of eternal optimism.
Reflecting on my family vacation to Costa Rica, I was reminded of some of the things that make life at Centric special. I am fortunate to work in an environment that pushes you beyond what you think you can do at times, because you can rely on your team and the process to strive for success.
Beyond professional success, I constantly get to build new relationships, learn new things from amazing people, and embrace the journey of life each day.
