Kathi Paquet, Local Agile Practice Lead for our St. Louis team, will be speaking on IT Asset and Service Management in the Cloud at the upcoming virtual event on July 8: Your Journey with the Atlassian Cloud 2021.
Transitioning to a new IT Asset and Service Management can be challenging and overwhelming. Finding the balance between a traditional effective help desk process while finding ways to communicate with agile teams throughout the organization can feel like comparing apples to hippos.
With an eye toward continuous improvement, Kathi will cover a Centric case study of deploying Jira Service Management. An organization decided to retire their current system and move to Jira Service Management, which allowed us to evaluate their current processes within their asset and service management team, design a user-friendly interface, implement ITIL best practices, and integrate with Jira Software.
Kathi will also cover key steps to include in your implementation strategy, outline our agile approach, and discuss lessons learned.

About the Atlassian Virtual Event on July 8: Your Journey with the Atlassian Cloud
At the 2021 summer event, Automation Consultants and Atlassian will be partnering to bring together influential cloud leaders, industry experts and practitioners, product vendors and cloud specialists from across the globe.
While it’s been over a decade since ‘Cloud First’ became an aspiration for many organizations and industries, it is only now evolving into a key strategy for all – as 55 percent of large enterprises aim to successfully implement an all-in cloud SaaS strategy by 2025 (Gartner, Cloud Strategy Leadership Report). With such a global investment, it is no longer a question of if we should leverage cloud services but when and how best to do so.
Join us as we explore the Atlassian cloud at every stage of your journey, from strategies and best practices to performance and optimizations to security and ITSM. Our handpicked lineup — including TaskTop, AppFox, Ginkgo Bioworks and more — offers key insights and lessons learned into the world of cloud. It’s promised to be an afternoon packed full of insightful keynotes, interactive panels, breakout sessions, end-user case studies, and community spaces for those spontaneous discussions, topic corners, Q&As and more.
