We recently hosted a webinar as part of our ongoing AI series, “Copilot for Microsoft 365: Fly High with AI,” where our Microsoft Modern Workplace experts discussed how business leaders achieve AI-powered productivity with Copilot for Microsoft 365.
Microsoft recently changed its licensing model for those who can access Copilot for Microsoft 365, clearing the runway for many more organizations and individual users to take advantage of the company’s newest AI-powered productivity accelerator.
Meanwhile, the early adopters are already reaping benefits. With an average of ten hours saved per person monthly, 70 percent of early Copilot users self-identify as more productive. Seventy-one percent cite saved time on mundane tasks as a key benefit. With all that early value add, is it any wonder that 77 percent of users say they don’t want to give Copilot up?
Moving Forward with Copilot for Microsoft 365
Still, as with any technological advances, the M365 Copilot flight path is not without its bumps and turbulence. Leaders want to know how to achieve the same business value from their investment that the early adopters see. But many are concerned about what licensing options make the most sense, whether their data is ready, or who stands to benefit most from adopting Copilot. Is it too late to catch up to the early adopters?
In short order, no, it’s not too late. But it is important to address your technological readiness before playing catch-up.
During our webinar, we polled respondents to determine what they’ve implemented to prepare their organizations for Copilot AI. Of nearly 400 respondents, 87 percent have not implemented any data or technological readiness measures. Despite that, 37 percent of those respondents are either testing licenses or already rolling out Copilot for M365.
Clearly, if you’re still stuck on the tarmac, you’re not alone. But now is the time to learn how to prepare your data, people, and environment for a successful deployment.
