Work Experience
Brian has more than 17 years of experience as a software architect and technical lead for software in medical, transportation, financial, and telecommunications industries using service-oriented, workflow-based systems, client-server, messaging, and mobile applications. He is experienced in building automation for continuous delivery and applying DevOps principles to legacy and green-field systems. Brian has worked as an architect on teams using Java, .Net, PHP, JavaScript, and scripting languages. He also has experience with agile development within regulated environments including the FDA and SEC.
Personal Statement
Brian has experience designing, implementing, testing, and deploying quality software in a variety of industries. He began his career building device control software for the Texas Department of Transportation and has had the opportunity to build software for a number of different industries and companies. Brian brings a pragmatic approach to building software using agile methodologies with continuous delivery. This approach allows teams to continually upgrade and deploy new features using automated testing to reduce risk and reduce the amount of manual gates before deployment.
