Get to Know Me
I am currently living in Warsaw, Poland with my wife and son, enjoying the international experience and the opportunities it brings. This was after living in Florida, New York, Northern and Southern California and Washington (almost the 4 “corners” of the United States). I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring, travelling, enjoying the outdoors, and motorsports.
What’s the best trip you’ve ever taken and why?
This is a very tough one, but at the moment I would say it was my first trip outside of the United States where I spent significant time (weeks) in the middle east where I didn’t speak the languages and the culture was very different; I was truly a stranger in a strange land. The trip really opened my eyes to how different the rest of the world is in many ways, and also required me to adapt to be comfortable and to fully enjoy being there. This was the first of a number of trips to the middle east and further global travel, I think it’s the best since it has helped me to appreciate, adapt, and enjoy wherever I am and whoever I am with, locally as well as internationally.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
I was at a presentation given by Jonathan Mildenhall, and he told a personal story regarding having confidence in yourself regardless of what others says, especially when you are doing things that you may be uncomfortable doing and “putting yourself out there” and I could relate to this and it really resonated with me.
