Get to Know Me
I am blessed to be married for 21 years and am the proud father of two adult children, all passionate about sports, especially soccer. We look forward every year to traveling to watch the top European soccer clubs when they are on tour in the U.S.
I have been fortunate to play alongside both my children, who were both named after soccer clubs, in community soccer leagues. I now run 5Ks and 2-mile runs to keep in shape so I can keep up with them.
Who inspires you and why?
My Parents. From humble beginnings, they worked hard to achieve success and instilled that “never say never” work ethic in me and my 7 siblings, while supporting many other children, young adults, elderly folk, and caring for the less fortunate.
What’s your favorite memory?
Overcoming a soccer finals jinx by winning a conference final in college after being on the losing end in 5 previous finals at the youth level. Victory is certainly sweeter when you have come up short many times before.
What’s your hidden talent?
I have been told I am a pretty good Master of Ceremonies but writing and acting gets my vote.
