The Business Need

As a company we were quickly outgrowing our current hosted e-mail solution. We had a need for a corporate shared calendar and for tools that would allow better project collaboration. We also run a very lean organization in comparison to our size, and needed a solution that did not require large amounts of on-going support costs.

Results

The result was a very successful Google Apps selection and implementation. Today all 500 of our employees and contractors currently collaborate via Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs. Going with a SaaS model for Business Productivity Apps has allowed us to achieve significant cost savings in comparison to the other on premise and hosted solutions we assessed, and has allowed us to invest in other initiatives more strategic to our core consulting business.
