Jeremy Gruenwald, Insurance Analytics lead will present a keynote at an upcoming AI and data analytics-focused event in Chicago.
Centric Consulting’s Jeremy Gruenwald will be the keynote speaker at the August 28 iOpener Innovation Conference 2024, hosted by i.c.stars.
The recent recipient of a $5 million donation from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, i.c.stars is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization that drives change by providing underserved young adults with technology-based workforce development, community leadership training, internships, and job placement.
This year’s iOpener theme is “Emerging Innovations in Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence.” The conference will focus on new trends in generative AI, as well as insights on monetizing, democratizing, and fully leveraging your data.
Gruenwald’s goal is to equip attendees with a nuanced understanding of AI’s capabilities and limitations, empowering them to make informed decisions about integrating AI technologies into their businesses and communities.
His presentation, “Practical Magic: AI in the Real World,” will offer perspective on the current state of AI technology. Drawing from real-world examples and use cases, he will explore how organizations can effectively use AI tools like language models and data analytics to solve practical problems rather than getting caught up in the hyper or unrealistic expectations around AI.
“AI Is not the solution to all our problems, the end of all our jobs, or just a fad. It’s a combination of powerful tools that can be used and adapted to meet many diverse needs across industries,” Gruenwald said. “The key is understanding the strengths and limitations of these AI tools and finding practical applications that augment and empower people.”
