Dayton, Ohio – March 6, 2025– Cigna Healthcare selected Centric Consulting as a recipient of its 2024 bronze-level Healthy Workforce Designation for demonstrating a strong commitment to improving the health and vitality of its employees through a workplace well-being program. Centric launched its wellness program in 2023 through a strategic partnership with Cigna Healthcare. It has evolved to include comprehensive wellness resources accessible through the Cigna portal for employees enrolled in the medical plan. The program now features seasonal fitness challenges each spring and fall, step challenges at in-person meetings, open enrollment raffles, a yearly preventative visit challenge, fitness discounts through Active and Fit, and regularly shares new resources in the company's communication platforms. The wellness program has received positive feedback, leading to positive long-term employee impacts. “One participant lost 13 pounds during our first challenge, which emboldened her to continue doing the healthy things she started doing during the challenge,” said Greer. “We also enjoy giving people the incentive and opportunity to try something different that they may not have tried before, like yoga, kickboxing, or even Zumba.
