This $700M company develops software and manufactures units leveraged by casinos and online stores. The company needed to upgrade their Oracle ERP solution to meet dynamic changes in their environment, and was looking for a business partner to help provide leadership and technical capability to implement a more robust technical environment.

Centric competed against several other firms to lead the Technical portion of the Business Process Transformation (BPT) project. The client was looking for a partner who knew how to develop a technical strategy and provide a solid infrastructure for their new solution. In addition, the client required a partner who could work seamlessly across multiple consulting companies and geographic boundaries. Centric provided resources such as Technical PM, Technical Solution Architect, Performance Test Lead, Performance Test Developers, Application DBAs and offshore Application support.
Centric lead the Technical portion of the Project which included:
- Defining the Tech Arch blueprint, the capacity plan and the instance strategy for a project that included Oracle EBS R12, SOA, configurator, ASCP, single sign on, and agile PLM.
- Estimating the technical effort required from design phase through production support.
- Assist in defining the methodology, tools, and technical processes to implement and support a complex technical architecture with High Availability and cost effective Disaster Recovery.
- Supporting the project team through the project lifecycle by enabling environments, proving out the technical architecture, conducting performance testing and performing knowledge transfer back to the client.
Centric has delivered on time and on budget for the client for all phases of the project. The solution includes a new data center, a highly available infrastructure, and a platform to enable global business.
