Centric Consulting experts provided its People and Change expertise as a panelist in one session, and several consultants chose to volunteer to support this year’s Midwest Change Conference hosted by the ACMP Midwest Chapter.
The Midwest Chapter of the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP)’s Midwest Change Conference (MCC) took place in downtown Chicago last month. This year’s theme was “Innovate, Adapt, Succeed: The Next Chapter of Change Management.” It was a sold-out event with diverse topics, notable presenters, and several networking opportunities for its conference participants.
Our national People and Change Lead Hilary Lee participated as an expert panelist, discussing how to enable change culture and measure change success. The panel covered how organizations can foster a culture that embraces change as a constant rather than a one-time event.
“It’s encouraging that everyone has realized they can’t avoid change,” Lee said, “They’ve started to build their CMOs and focus on helping their people navigate it.”
Additionally, Michelle Davies, our Chicago People and Change lead, who served on the ACMP Midwest Chapter’s Board of Directors from 2017-2022, was the Conference Chair, while Michelle Lacki, Chicago’s People and Change senior manager, was the Conference Deputy Chair – both supporting the ACMP Board of Directors in all aspects of the conference.
Several of our Chicago People and Change team members also volunteered and attended the event, taking the opportunity to establish meaningful connections and gain actionable strategies for driving successful change initiatives.
This year’s event featured a dynamic lineup of presenters sharing valuable tips, tools, and trends around building change resilience in today’s ever-evolving business landscape. Tim Creasey, Chief Innovation Officer at Prosci, presented the keynote speech, citing Prosci’s latest research to identify top changes and trends the discipline will see in coming years.
