Most of us are very fortunate. We never wonder if we will have enough to eat. We always look forward to exchanging gifts and being with family during the holidays.
But, we all know others are not as lucky.
One of the many reasons I love Centric Consulting is everybody’s excitement and generosity when it comes to helping their community.
For the past three years, the Centric Cincinnati and Louisville teams have come together to give back to The Wish Tree Program during the holiday season.
About The Wish Tree
The Wish Tree is a local program in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky started to help bring laughter and joy to the lives of disadvantaged children, teens and adults. The program was started way back in 1985 and has grown from helping a few individuals to helping several thousand (50,000!) of the under-served last year.
This year, we teamed up with Wish Tree and helped deliver a lot of smiles! Gifts under our Wish Tree included:
- Gift cards
- School supplies
- Bluetooth speakers and earbuds
- Toys and games (matchbox cars, tracks, dolls)
- Shirts, jeans, and belts for kids
- Diapers and formula
- Loungewear, blankets and towels for elderly recipients
- Lotion, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap and shampoo
- Razors and shaving cream
- Wash cloths, kitchen towels, and much more!
The holidays are even more special when we can work together with an organization like the Wish Tree and bring a little more happiness to our community!
