Get to Know Me 

Outside of work, I’m passionate about leadership development, mentorship, and giving back to the project management community. I’m an active speaker, author, and podcast host, sharing insights on project leadership, Agile methodologies, and business transformation. Music is another big part of my life as I have been involved in the industry in one capacity or another for over 30 years. Whether it’s on stage or in the boardroom, I believe in bringing energy, authenticity, and a commitment to growth in everything I do.

What is the best piece of advice you have received?

One of the best pieces of advice that has stuck with me comes from John Maxwell: “Success is when I add value to myself, but significance is when I add value to others. And once you taste significance, success will never satisfy!” Early in my career, I was focused on climbing the ladder and achieving personal success, but I realized that true fulfillment comes from helping others grow. Whether it’s mentoring future leaders, guiding teams through challenges, or sharing insights through speaking and writing, I strive to create a lasting impact that goes beyond just getting the job done.

What’s your favorite book & why?

One of my favorite books is Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. It’s not just about wealth—it’s about mindset, vision, and persistence. The book reinforces the power of setting clear goals, maintaining a strong work ethic, and surrounding yourself with the right people. These principles have shaped how I approach leadership, project management, and life in general, reminding me that success is a combination of belief, action, and continuous learning.”
