Get to Know Me

I was born and raised on the east-side suburbs of Cleveland, and after college and some international travel my family and I settled and built a home <15 minutes from where I grew up!

I studied International Business, Marketing, and Spanish at the University of Dayton and graduated Magna Cum Laude. I was fortunate to be on a student-team that started a Non-Profit for Non-Profits called “”Flyer Consulting”” during my college years, and enjoyed studying abroad in Guatemala and being a teacher’s assistant for the study abroad programs that enabled me to spend some extensive time in Europe.

What Are Your Hobbies?

Outside of work, I’m a full-time mom of three kiddos and Auntie to 6 nieces and nephews (9 total under the age of 8, you can imagine how quiet it is around here when we all get together). You can often find our family outdoors, whether it be camping, snowmobiling, fishing, or four-wheeling/riding. On the weeknights I love finding and cooking new recipes, and doing my best keeping up with the house, homework, and kids! On the weekends you can find the Fyfes running around to any variety of community, school, or sporting events. We host family and friends on the regular without the need of a special occasion, and put out massive spreads of food with an open door policy. We love to play cards (Euchre is a favorite) and board games (Catan always brings out the best in everyone, doesn’t it?)

I serve as the Technology Officer on the board of a local non-profit called the West Geauga Recreation Council (wgrc.org). I also chair the annual St. Anselm School Handbag Bash, which is a large fundraising event (~200 people) for my children’s school that’s all about fashion, fun, and friendship for a good cause.

What’s The Best Trip You’ve Ever Taken?

The best trips I have ever taken were a big camping trip out west where my husband and I were able to put a ton of pins in the National Park Map, and Maui for our honeymoon. We drove ~18 straight hours for the first leg of our out-west trip, and camped with the most incredible mountain and lake views. We’re planning a trip back so our kids can experience all of those wonderful sites. On the Maui front, I think we ended up putting 900 miles on the rental jeep to give you an idea of how much we traversed and explored that island!
