Ohio Tech News and OhioX named Joseph Ours, Director of AI Solutions at Centric Consulting, as one of the 25 leaders defining Ohio’s AI economy.
Ohio Tech News and OhioX have named Joseph Ours to AI25, a new annual honor spotlighting 25 people making a real AI impact across Ohio. Ours was recognized alongside founders, enterprise leaders, educators, and investors building the state’s AI economy.
As the Director of AI Solutions at Centric Consulting, Ours has helped build and scale the firm’s AI service offerings across Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati.
His team developed an AI governance framework grounded in the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s AI Risk Management Framework for a major Ohio property and casualty insurer, and he is currently leading enterprise-wide AI governance work for a major Ohio city alongside Microsoft Copilot Chat and Copilot agent use cases.
Ohio Tech News called him a “trusted advisor for Ohio enterprises navigating complex AI transformations.”

Ours, a Centric consultant since 2005, has nearly three decades of experience in IT and management consulting, including expertise in AI, automation, cloud platforms, DevOps, quality assurance, and agile development. He currently works with Fortune 500 companies to build AI solutions for process automation, personalized customer experiences, and value chain optimization.
As a member of the Forbes Technology Council and a regular contributor to Harvard Business Review, Forbes, InformationWeek, Crain’s Business, TechRadar, and other regional and national publications, Ours is a thought leader who speaks regularly on AI readiness, planning, and governance. Consulting Magazine recently recognized him as an AI Innovator.
