On April 7th Centric Columbus teamed with the folks at No Chef’s Allowed to transform into Souper Heroes for an evening of soup, bread and fun! Souper Heroes is a free, monthly event geared toward having fun with food and the community while providing for those who don’t have enough of either.

A team of eight from Centric attended the event including Justin Hines, Erynn Truex, Joe Van Bolderen, Kyle Buggie, Brad Stagmeyer, Jack Koppert, and Luke Zemanek. Centric chefs Linda Farrenkopf and Erynn Truexx also whipped up some delicious soups to share. The event was held at the Land Grant Brewing Company in Columbus, Ohio.

In addition to enjoying a variety of fabulous soups and bread, the “Souper Heroes” collected $446.57 in donations plus an additional $500 in matching donations from Centric. All donations went to Neighborhood Services,  an organization that primarily serves working, low-income families and individuals, unemployed individuals and their families, and single heads of household with young, dependent children in the Columbus community.
