Several members of the Centric Boston team recently volunteered with Cradles to Crayons, an organization that provides children living in low-income or homeless situations with the essentials they need to thrive at home, school and play.

Cradles 4_SMALL -Centric Boston volunteered for a day by assisting in the final assembly of winter care packages that will directly benefit 91 underprivileged or homeless children in Massachusetts. The team helped create care packages that included important items such as winter coats, boots, school supplies and books.

“Thanks to all who contributed their time to this worthy charity,” said Centric Boston Practice Lead Craig Holbrook. “It was a great way to give back to a community that has given so much to us.”

About Cradles to Crayons

Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. They supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need.

Cradles to Crayons collects new and nearly new children’s items through grassroots community drives and corporate donations. Donations are then processed and packaged by volunteers, and are distributed to disadvantaged children across the state through a collaborative network of social service agencies and school partners.
