Dayton, OHIO, August 22, 2017 – For the eighth year, Centric Consulting, a business consulting and technology solutions firm, has been featured on Inc. Magazine’s annual list of the nation’s 5,000 fastest-growing, privately held companies.

As an 8-time honoree, Centric is part of a select group of “Hall of Fame” members recognized about as many times.

The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth over a three-year period. To qualify, companies have to be U.S.-based, privately held and independent. In the past three years, Centric has grown by 58 percent.

In 2013, Centric was named in another Inc. Magazine listing – the Hire Power Awards, which recognizes private businesses that have generated the most jobs in the past 18 months. Our company had added 92 jobs from Jan. 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013, placing it among the top 10 private job creators in the state of Ohio.

The 2017 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2013 to 2016. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2013. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2016. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2013 is $100,000; the minimum for 2016 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue. They represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000.
