Almost 75 volunteers, including 17 from Centric Chicago volunteered with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) on Sept. 27th to help create MannaPacks, a rice food formula specifically designed to meet the nutritional needs of malnourished children around the world. The FMSC staff cranked some fun music and the two-hour long packing session began. Volunteers packed a mix of vitamins, dehydrated vegetables, soy, and rice to create nearly 22,000 MannaPacks that are now destined for Swaziland.
