I serve as the South Florida Business Unit Leader and am responsible for business development, client relationships and general management. In my 20+ years of experience as a consultant, I’ve focused on developing and delivering the strategy and execution of large Transformational programs. I have extensive experience in all facets of Portfolio, Program and Project Management including implementing methodologies and operating models that drive change across organizations.
My focus has always been on programs that are focused on outcomes, which is a combination of business-led objectives and IT enabled solutions coupled with process development and deployment. I have delivered engagements across various industries relevant to the South Florida region including Entertainment, Power / Utilities /Energy, High Tech, Consumer Products, Supply Chain / Distribution and Hospitality.
My family and I moved from Dallas, Texas to Delray Beach, Florida 8 years ago as we wanted a change! Our love of the beach and the opportunity to visit all the great areas Florida has to offer including the theme parks in Orlando, the Florida Keys and both coasts of Florida were the perfect fit for us and our lifestyle. Our son Alex is now twelve and keeps us very busy with travel baseball games, lacrosse, soccer, fishing and surfing. I am an avid beach volleyball player and we love to travel and continue to add to our list of cities and countries visited.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
I remember a conversation with my father when I was just a freshman in college. I can still hear his voice resonating over the phone. He said, “Rob, nothing in life is free and if you really put your mind to it and work hard – harder than your friends and your classmates, you will succeed.” I replied as any know-it-all almost twenty-something would, “I know, Dad, but what happens then?”
“You appreciate how far you’ve come, and then you keep going.” And that’s what drives me in all facets of my life!
