Get to Know Me

I am married and a step parent of 3 children – boy/girl twin teenagers and a middle schooler. We are involved in performance sports which keeps things busy as we travel for competitions and tournaments in figure skating, hockey and gymnastics.

Additionally, I am a licensed massage therapist specializing in active release techniques that enable me to assist people with sports-related injuries. As a retired triathlete and marathoner, I still attempt to remain active by regular attendance at Orange Theory Fitness and participating in local running races.

This upcoming year, I am looking forward to coaching the ‘Girls on the Run’ National Program to a group of 6th-grade girls for the local middle school in my community.

What’s the best trip you’ve ever taken and why?

One of the more memorable adventures was a 2.5-week trip to Asia traveling to Seoul, South Korea and Shanghai & Beijing, China. It provided me with an opportunity to be exposed to very different cultures and be completely outside my comfort zone.

What do you like to do for fun?

I love being active and outdoors; boating, skiing, cycling and hiking.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

It’s not about the destination, it’s the journey that is most important. Remember to enjoy the experience.

The Ability to Bring People and Opportunities Together

“What energizes me about my job is the ability to bring people and opportunities together. There is nothing more gratifying than helping people navigate their career in the direction of their respective goals where they can optimize their talents and expertise.”
