On Tuesday, July 15th, Centric’s Data & Analytics Practice hosted an internal Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Training Day at The Ohio State University. Jeff Kanel, Centric’s National Data & Analytics Practice Lead, created and led the training session. Centric had 22 attendees from across the organization. The following topics on the role of the BI analyst were covered during the session:
- Write BI User Stories
- Document Information Models
- Understand Data Sources
- Finding Non-Functional Requirements
- Organize BI Content
The BI analyst role is frequently needed on BI projects. This training session will ensure Centric employees have the knowledge needed to fulfill the role of BI Analyst and helps Centric be better prepared to staff these roles on projects.
