Business Process Improvement and Transformation
We use several tools and techniques to move the process documentation, definition, and modeling to a higher level of process analysis in order to capture the necessary process details (including objectives, metrics, activities, pain points, opportunities, exceptions and constraints) to create a prioritized listing of issues and opportunities that support the development of a BPM strategy and roadmap. This analysis and redesign of process activities often leverages well known techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, Global 8-D, Theory of Constraints, and/or Rummler Brache. Process Improvement involves creating “To-Be” processes and validating which modifications provide the best balance of return and risk. Process transformation encompasses a major rethinking of an organization’s approach to a process and may include benchmarking and other approaches.

Software Analysis and Vendor Selection
Using our experience with different BPM solutions and vendors, we can recommend the best BPMS to meet your needs. We start by defining software selection, business, financial and technical requirements and proceed to a simple fit assessment for a selected vendor or coordinate an overall RFI/RFP process (including vendor demonstration/proof of concept facilitation, score-carding, evaluation of the architectural alignment and total cost of ownership). This may also include a process analysis/ assessment to define requirements and ensure the proper inputs to develop the underlying business case.
BPMS Technology Enablement and Support
We use a “modified agile” approach to iteratively deliver functionality through implementation. This methodology stresses standard waterfall methodology for project definition and integrations with other systems while providing business value in a timely manner by utilizing agile concepts for BPMS development/implementation. We use our practical knowledge and experience to establish a strong project team that is a healthy balance of client personnel and consulting resources in order to focus on thoroughly defining user stories and determining the proper sequence to deliver against these stories to maximize business value in a limited timeframe.
