Rated: Beginnings of a Giant Innovation Cycle

Last year, author Larry English wrote a post entitled, Beginnings of a Gigantic Innovation Cycle as part of Centric’s series on the Top 14 Business and Technology Trends of 2014Now, more than a year later, Larry explores the accuracy of that prediction.

Disruptive technologies and business models will inspire a new level of innovation.

It may be in a product line or division or an entire business, but it is only a matter of time until companies will be forced to either innovate or deteriorate. Companies need to figure out how to effectively embrace and integrate innovation into their operating model in order to stay on the forefront of growth and customer loyalty.

Analysis: Nailed It.

Honestly, the pace of innovation in the prediction may be underestimated. Fast Company estimates 500,000 new start-ups A MONTH in the U.S. alone. Buckle up for unprecedented change brought on by the Second Machine Age.
