Centric was one of 35 companies honored at Columbus Business First‘s 10th annual “Best Places to Work” luncheon. More than 500 people were in attendance at the celebration of the 2014 award recipients, which was held on Nov. 12th at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom in Columbus, Ohio.

Award recipients were chosen based on employee responses to the “Best Places to Work” engagement survey. Out of the nearly 100 Central Ohio companies who took the survey, 35 were chosen across four company size categories: micro – 10 to 24 employees, small – 25 to 99 employees, medium – 100 to 499 employees, and large – over 500 employees. Centric was one of the ten chosen to receive this distinction in the small size category.

About the award

To determine Central Ohio’s Best Places to Work, Columbus Business First collaborated with Quantum Workplace, which has conducted employment engagement studies for some of America’s best-known corporations, to quiz employees about their work environments.

Quantum used a Web-based questionnaire to gather opinions from workers of the companies and nonprofit institutions that became candidates for the Best Places to Work award. Business First recognized 35 of the 100 companies scored by Quantum – the top companies in each of four work-force categories.
